Position Details:

• Days of the week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
• Number of Patients per day: 8-adults; If mix of children, then 8-12 possibly
• Amount of time per patient: 1hr adult; 1 1/2 hr GCRP; Children 30 min (up to 16yrs old)
• Permanent Position
• Pay: $60.50

Additional Information: 

• One hygienist practicing with me for 20 years, graduate of Oxnard College 
• Previous hygienist of 7 years moved out of the area
• You are paid for patients seen
• Adults: Exam, X-rays, Full Mouth Perio Charting, Prophy
• Gingival curretage and SRP with anesthetic
• Fluoride and Sealants placed when necessary
• Strong emphasis of Perio with my patients
• Will educate on Sleep Medicine and what to look for in the chair

Office hours: 

Monday 8:30am-5:30pm (lunch 1-2) 

Tuesday 9am-4:30pm (lunch 1-2) 

Wednesday 8:30am-5:30pm (lunch 1-2) 

Thursday 9am-6pm (lunch 1-2) 

Friday- 8:30-1pm

A message from Dr Henry:

I have a great patient base and would say 8 patient scheduled, you will see 7 patients and sometimes 8 (law of numbers...rescheduling/cancellations). My staff is pretty good at hustling to fill the openings.

I offer no benefits at this time. There is no incentive program in place. Although, once hygiene shores up and is more stable again, then I can look into implementing a program. (I have been without my second hygienist now for over a year.)

Pay Rate $55-$60 per hour

What your day looks like:

*Patient- Centered Care: Typically, you'll see 8 patients per day, with appointments usually starting on the hour, following standard hygiene workflow including medical history updates,  check-up x-rays, periodontal charting, scaling and root planing (SRP) if needed, and targeted patient education.  

*Collaborative Care: We focus on the connection between oral and systemic  health, working together as a team to educate and empower our patients.

*Valid California RDH License and current certifications: (CPR, infection control). 

*Strong clinical skills paired with a warm, confident  chairside manner.

*A punctual self-starter who appreciates a well run  schedule and great team dynamics.
